Assist Devices - HeartMate I (II)

The image on the left is a wireframe view of the HeartMate I LVAS showing the innternal and external components of the device.   There is a housing where the electromagnet, rotator cams, pushe plate and polyurethane membrane are housed. The inflow canula, cages for the valvesand outflow conduit. The image on the right shows a rendering of the the samel components of the VE-LVAS.
